ranting

asean meeting was a pain in the ass. spent my birthday at the airport, worked for more than 12 hours for two weeks, and to top it all, was accused of losing the tickets of the delegates (thai diplomats) when we sent them off to the airport last friday. good thing we had their boarding passes already when the tickets were lost. but my boss insisted to find it. When i couldn’t find it, i asked the airline people for alternative solutions. one, the operation’s manager assured me that the diplomats didn't need the tickets anymore. two, they could actually re-print it for us. but the thing was, the system that night was down and if ever it wasn’t, it would take time! i was lost of bright ideas that night for my boss (she’s also a diplomat here in the phil) would like to have a reprinted ticket for reasons that i didn’t know when i already explained the first solution. then suddenly, my colleague, told me that the delegates were already inside the plane. i went home with a frown in my face. gandang experience!

to calm myself, i dragged bryan to get a body massage that night! Hay…

though asean is already over, i still can’t get enough rest. am so occupied with a report in india for my MA. really long report, not to mention that we are three in the group. plus, i have to make an arrangement with benilde so i could give an advance final exams and have make up classes for my students before I leave for beijing. para akong naghahabol ng oras ngayon!

about beijing, they had a meeting yesterday but i wasn’t able to attend. i decided to rest and just be lazy. woke up late, went to the mall, bought stuff... para matuwa lang ako. Hehehe. Kasi naman, been very hard working for the past few days, just wanted to be irresponsible for just a day. hehehe

Ayun, need to go back to work now. Am doing my letter for the embassy and benilde regarding my scholarship in china.

moving forward

its been a while since i blog. i wanted to do this for the longest time but i just can't find time. am juggling a lot of stuff now. am working with diplomats, teaching college students, attending grad school not to mention am working out again... hahaha (for wellness sake) doing all of these stuff is stressful but am glad on how things turned out. though, there's also this uncertain intervening opportunity that might (just might) make me give up all of these things but i haven't really thought about it. just like what i told dean f. “i'll cross the bridge when i get there.” (this statement is so joeven castro... hahaha.)

---
harold and victor will be flying to malaysia soon. vic will leave this month while harold will follow sometime in august. They'll be teaching in an IS there... this means that i might need to abandon the mansion. am thinking of moving near to my work.

---
ea will be coming home next month. he promised everyone a treat to bora... hahaha. i think he's serious about it. hehehe. he'll be back to the land down under after a month.---we went to galera unplanned two weeks ago. i was really ecstatic for they say that it's the “little boracay.” but when we get to the island, i told vic, “eto na yun?” galera is so overrated. coron is far better than galera. though we managed to have fun with all the mini bars, shops and the beach.. twas fun and expensive weekend not to mention that we're supposed to go to an all-expenses-paid-activity in baguio that time.

You Are An INTP
The Thinker
You are analytical and logical - and on a quest to learn everything you can.Smart and complex, you always love a new intellectual challenge.Your biggest pet peeve is people who slow you down with trivial chit chat.A quiet maverick, you tend to ignore rules and authority whenever you feel like it.
In love, you are an easy person to fall for. But not an easy person to stay in love with.Although you are quite flexible, you often come off as aloof or argumentative.
At work, you are both a logical and creative thinker. You are great at solving problems. You would make an excellent mathematician, programmer, or professor.
How you see yourself: Creative, fair, and tough-minded
When other people don't get you, they see you as: arrogant, cold, and robotic

wishful thinking

mark y and i are starting a reading/discussion group with oradec pips. we plan to aid geraldine’s debate training. sir joeven calls it as the feu version of toastmasters… i just hope this one would kick-off… would be a great help in terms of matter loading.
--

might be debating on feb with mark just for fun. but we still don’t have a 3rd speaker... hehehe… and am still contemplating on rose lyn’s comment… hahaha. but geraldine is compelling us to decide because she wants the budget proposal to be on dr.f’s table on monday… am just wondering if feu will sponsor our team in the event that we resolved to join… grin. i call this one “wishful thinking” hahaha
--

i caught myself re-reading my own posts. funny that i started entertaining the question, “what in the world was i thinking when i wrote these entries?” hehehe. but somehow it’s nice to look back on your premature judgment on things and map-out the progression of your realizations.

till then!

You are The Sun

Happiness, Content, Joy.

The meanings for the Sun are fairly simple and consistent.

Young, healthy, new, fresh. The brain is working, things that were muddled come clear, everything falls into place, and everything seems to go your way.

The Sun is ruled by the Sun, of course. This is the light that comes after the long dark night, Apollo to the Moon's Diana. A positive card, it promises you your day in the sun. Glory, gain, triumph, pleasure, truth, success. As the moon symbolized inspiration from the unconscious, from dreams, this card symbolizes discoveries made fully consciousness and wide awake. You have an understanding and enjoyment of science and math, beautifully constructed music, carefully reasoned philosophy. It is a card of intellect, clarity of mind, and feelings of youthful energy.

random thoughts

harold just arrived from china last wed. he bought an mp4 there w/c is starting to be a real pain in the ass (our comp always hang because of it.) Hehehe. nonetheless he's enjoying downloading mp3s in it… it’s really fun that I have a fellow gizmo boy in the mansion… hehehe. we stayed late last night transferring files.. but had prob in saving songs from my ipod to his mp4 player... with a bit of luck, I’ll be able to figure it out (soon)…

am wondering how’s the oradec people doing in baguio now… I was supposed to join them if not for work… (I should have been watching debaters eating each other… hehehe)

my eyes are getting blurred again (i mean my vision)… but I dnt wanna wear my glasses. Hehehe… I guess I should take some rest as remedy…

am still lost for xmas. I dunno if am going to spend it in davao, if we’ll take off for Bangkok (with friends, though I doubt this one) or elsewhere. My mom told me that my brother might buy her a ticket for xmas which means that I might not be going anywhere… if ever, this would be my second xmas in manila. oh well, i really dunno… let’s see how things will unfold… hehehe
